ACG’s Agent Portal serves as a critical gateway for information access and collaboration. However, the application was operating on an outdated technology stack and required an upgrade. At the same time, several new features had to be incorporated to align with organizational standards and modern architectural requirements.
The existing Liferay 6.2 platform needed to be upgraded to Liferay 7.1 to support improved search capabilities. Enhanced search was essential for helping agents retrieve customer documents based on geographic permissions and other parameters, more accurately and efficiently.
The upgrade to Liferay DXP 7.1 strengthened user experience, improved content management efficiency, and enhanced overall performance.
The updated platform introduced modern features that allowed ACG to administer its web properties more effectively. Performance analytics across pages and applications provided valuable insights for continuous optimization.
